This book is one that explores paper engineering. The illustrations were digitally printed on transparent film. As the reader flips through each page and opens each flap, the transparent images layer together to simulate a girl getting dressed to play in the snow.
Each item of clothing is accompanied by a related haiku that was hand set and printed in the Jonathan Edwards College Press. It is set in Bodoni and Goudy Italic.
This book was printed in 2015 for Yale course Art 006 Art of the Printed Word, taught by Master Printer Richard Rose.
